On September 23, 2024, the RealSAM team was proud to attend the Sight Village North East event in Leeds at the Royal Armouries. The event was a key moment for those interested in the latest advancements for blind and partially sighted individuals. As one of the UK’s premier exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge assistive technology, it brought together industry leaders, innovators, and those looking for ways to improve daily life for people with visual impairments.
At the event, we had the opportunity to connect with our partners the RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People), an organisation at the forefront of advocacy and support for the visually impaired community in the UK. This connection is working toward further collaboration on solutions that enhance independence and accessibility for those with sight loss.
The event celebrated innovation and community, with diverse exhibitors showcasing everything from Braille devices to AI navigation tools. The atmosphere was inspiring, and we were thrilled to be part of such a pivotal event in the assistive tech world. As we continue to build connections with key organisations like the RNIB, RealSAM remains committed to helping individuals live more independently and confidently.
Looking forward to more events like this, we aim to bring even greater accessibility and empowerment to the visually impaired community.
