Phone and Contacts
In Your Pocket is the world's first totally voice operated phone. It is very simple to use, just click the button and ask for what you want. To make a call just say, "Call James Bond", or "Call 07812 345 678".To add a new contact say, Add a contact for Miss Moneypenny".
Book Selection and Reading
In Your Pocket helps you to navigate and select from around 100,000 books from several libraries and this list is constantly expanding: RNIB Library is an Accessible Online Library for people with visual impairment. It is the largest of its kind in the UK, and has over 60,000 items in the collection, including high quality audio books. Project Gutenberg provides access to free books that are out of copyright, and is available to all users. There are currently around 30,000 Project Gutenberg books available through In Your Pocket. Librivox provides free public domain audiobooks read by volunteers from around the world. There are currently around 6,000 Librivox audiobooks available through In Your Pocket.
Newspapers and News Feeds
You can access over 100 newspapers provided by the RNIB Library. These include all the major UK papers, such as The Sun, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Guardian, The Independent, The Daily Mirror, and many more. Pocket can also read you The Conversation, which gives academic rigour mixed with journalistic flair.

Weather, Time and Location
In Your Pocket can tell you the time, date and the weather forecast for your current location, or any city around the world. You can also ask about your current location. Just ask, “Where am I?”, and Pocket responds with a street address and the nearest cross street. Then you can say, "What's around here?", for Pocket to tell you about the points of interest nearby.
Podcasts - Radio Programs on Demand
In Your Pocket allows you to listen to a huge range of radio program podcasts on demand. You can search through the catalogue, which includes all the radio podcasts from RNIB Connect Radio, plus all the stations of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), and National Public Radio (NPR) from the USA. In Your Pocket also provides access to the TED Talks audio podcasts.
