About You

We’re seeking a proactive and empathetic Support Worker to assist a visually impaired Customer Engagement Assistant at RealSAM Ltd. Your role will ensure accessibility, efficiency, and seamless execution of tasks, both virtually and on-site.

This is a professional role, where you’ll provide vital assistance with job-specific tasks rather than personal ones, making a real difference to our team member’s productivity and success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Support: Manage CRM systems, format documents, reconcile expenses, and prioritise tasks.

  2. Event and Meeting Assistance: Schedule, book, and manage meetings; create event materials; provide on-site support for navigation and accessibility; and capture meeting minutes.

  3. Transportation: Ensure timely travel for meetings and events, accompanying the Customer Engagement Assistant as needed.

  4. General Support: Assist with interpreting inaccessible documents, action tracking, and maintaining consistent branding and professionalism in materials.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  1. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel via public transport.

  2. Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Meet).

  3. Strong organisational and communication skills.

  4. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to changing needs.

  5. Confidence with technology and enthusiasm for its applications.

  6. Comfortable around dogs (the Customer Engagement Assistant is a guide dog owner).

Preferred:

  1. Certification in Disability Support.

  2. Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, particularly visual impairments.

  3. Knowledge of G Suite and CRM systems.

  4. Familiarity with accessibility tools and event management.
