If you’re interested in a RealSAM device like the RealSAM Pocket or the RealSAM Phone, here’s what you can expect from RealSAM Customer Support when you order from us:

1. RealSAM Customer Support Goes Above and Beyond

Don’t hesitate to call our Customer Support Team. 

Whether you just want to enquire about our products, or you’re ready to order, from the outset we are dedicated to helping our customers and we’d be happy to answer any questions.

When you call, you won’t get lost in an automated system, you’ll be able to speak with one of our team members. Robert Mathews and Robin Lamont are two of our customer support team that will go above and beyond to assist you in any way. 

You can reach one of our Customer Support Team Member from our Peterborough based office, available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. If you call after hours, there’s no worries, just leave us a message, and you can expect a prompt call back from us when we get back in at regular hours.

2. You Can Try Out the RealSAM Pocket in Person

We partner with national and local sight loss charities that have low vision centres where you can try out aids and assistive technology in person. If you would like to enquire about getting a RealSAM demo, browse our list of RealSAM Demonstrators.

3. Order Online or By Phone 

When you’re ready to order, you can choose to do it online or by phone.

Our online shop is accessible to screen readers and OS magnifier users. It has a simple layout with well-defined sections, headings, and buttons. Additionally, there are low vision accessibility options to choose from; you can resize the text and change the contrasting colours to whichever is easiest for you to see.

When ordering online, the first step is to choose the device you want to order. Our side-by-side Comparison Table will let you know what features are included with each product. 

Next, you can choose how you’d like to purchase your device. You can buy your device SIM free, or you can spread the cost with your desired data plan. 

Finally, you’ll be inputting your information when you go through our Check Out. 

If you choose to order by phone, we’ll talk you through all the options and easily process your order.

4. Our Products & Plans Are Affordable 

When you shop with us, you can choose from affordable options. 

Buy your RealSAM device with an O2 plan paying monthly. With this option the monthly price will include the cost of your handset and unlimited UK talk and text. The monthly price depends on which device you choose and the data allowance you opt for. For example, you can purchase a RealSAM Phone for as low as £19.99 per month; this price will includes the cost of your handset, unlimited UK talk and text and 1GB data per month for 36 months. 

With a similar plan, you can get Pocket for as low as £26.99 per month; this will include the cost of the device, unlimited UK talk and text and 3GB data for 2 years. 

Buy your RealSAM Pocket with an O2 plan paying the full cost upfront. This option is only available for the RealSAM Pocket. If you don’t want to pay a monthly bill, you may prefer to pay in full upfront. This one-time payment will cover the cost of your handset and unlimited UK talk and text with O2 for two years. The price will depend on whether you opt for 3GB or 10GB data. For example, you can get the RealSAM Pocket for £643—this covers the cost of your handset, unlimited UK talk and text and 3GB data per month for two years. 

Buy your RealSAM device SIM free and find your own plan. This option is available for both the RealSAM Phone and the RealSAM Pocket. Purchase your device unlocked and shop around for your preferred mobile services. 

5. RealThing Ai is a Member of the National Databank

6. We Ship for Free 

We ship all our devices to you with no additional postage charges. You can expect to receive your RealSAM device within 5-10 business days; many of our customers receive their package within just a few days. 

7. Your RealSAM Device Can Be Ready to Use Right Out of the Box

When you receive your RealSAM device your package will include: 

  • The device: the RealSAM Phone or the RealSAM Pocket. Your handset will already be in a sturdy case with an attached lanyard. If you ordered your phone with a SIM from us, it will be ready to use right out of the box.
  • A USBC charging cable 
  • A pin for releasing the SIM tray
  • A quick start guide
